Yokohama Burning In this memoir, Karen Breitweiser tells how she has coped since the devastating loss of her husband in the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001. Breitweiser, along with several other 9/11 widows, who later became known as Jersey Girls, pushed for an independent commission to look into the events of that day. Though their plan initially encountered strong opposition from the Bush administration, the Jersey Girls prevailed. Breitweiser critiques the commission burning yokohama and its final report, burning yokohama and reports on her role as a public figure, including her support for John Kerry in the 2004 election.
